Summer Ringette 2025

As the last buzzer sounded and the skates came off the ice, one thing was clear — the CRRA Falcons’ Summer Ringette Development Program was a resounding success!

Over the past several weeks, athletes from across our Ottawa ringette community laced up early, showed up with purpose, and pushed themselves through fun, fast-paced summer ringette sessions led by a dedicated team of coaches. Whether it was refining skating mechanics, dialing in passing accuracy, or improving on-ice awareness, every athlete made noticeable progress — and had a great time doing it.

“The smiles and fist bumps as the kids came off the ice said it all,” said Luke Piecki, CRRA’s Player Development Director. “We wanted to create an environment that was positive, challenging, and focused on individual growth — and our coaches absolutely delivered.”

This summer ringette camp offered the perfect setting for athletes to stay sharp during the off-season, while building confidence and connections that will carry into the fall. From U10s taking their first strides to returning players sharpening their edgework and game IQ, there was something valuable for everyone.

A huge thank you goes out to all the coaches and volunteers who gave their time and energy this summer. Your leadership and passion helped remind our athletes why they love this sport — and what makes the CRRA Falcons Ringette community so special.

With this momentum, we’re heading into the season energized and ready. Whether it’s development, competition, or team building, the future of ringette in our region is looking bright!
